Purchases, promotions, refunds and rights of withdrawal

1. Definition
“Lamina” and “the App” mean the Lamina macOS application.
“Lamina Pro” means the paid features unlocked within the App.
“Lamina Free” means the feature-limited version that remains available without a paid licence.
“Website” means lamina-app.com.
2. Promotional codes, offers and referral links
Lamina Pro may occasionally be offered with promotional prices, discount codes or referral codes.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
only one promotional code may be used for each order;
promotional codes cannot be combined with other discounts or offers;
promotional codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or paid out;
a code may be limited to particular products, customers, countries, periods or numbers of redemptions;
expired, invalid or incorrectly entered codes cannot be applied retrospectively;
a discount applies only if it is successfully accepted during checkout; and
a discount does not change the scope or duration of the Lamina Pro licence.
A promotional code or offer may be changed, limited or withdrawn before it has been successfully used. This does not retroactively affect an order that has already been completed with a valid discount.
Some promotional codes and links may be assigned to referral or affiliate partners.
If a qualifying purchase is attributed to such a partner, the partner may receive a commission from the sale. This does not create an additional charge for the customer unless the checkout clearly states otherwise.
Referral and affiliate partners are required to disclose clearly when a recommendation, link or code is connected with a commission, payment, free licence or another commercial benefit.
Use of a promotional code or referral link does not reduce the customer’s rights under the 30-day money-back guarantee or mandatory consumer law.
3. What the purchase includes

The company operates the Lemon Squeezy service and acts as Merchant of Record and authorised reseller.
The Lamina application itself is downloaded free of charge from lamina-app.com.
The purchase does not provide a separate application file. The customer receives a licence key by email. This key unlocks the Pro features in the downloaded App.
The purchase is a one-time purchase and not a subscription.
4. 30-day money-back guarantee
Lamina Pro includes a voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee.
A customer may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date by:
emailing hello@lamina-app.com using the email address entered during checkout; or
using the order or receipt link provided by Lemon Squeezy.
No explanation is required.
The customer should include the order or receipt number where available so that the purchase can be identified.
Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and returned to the original payment method. Depending on the payment provider, it may take up to ten days for the refund to appear on the customer’s account or card statement.
The guarantee is generally limited to one refund per customer and licence. It does not apply to fraudulent purchases, deliberate refund abuse or abusive chargebacks.
Nothing in this voluntary guarantee limits mandatory consumer rights.
5. Effect of a refund on the licence
A full refund ends the customer’s right to use Lamina Pro.
Once the refund has been issued:
the Lamina Pro licence terminates;
the licence key becomes invalid;
the key may no longer be activated or used; and
the customer may continue using Lamina Free.
At the next App start with an internet connection, Lamina will detect that the licence is no longer valid and will return to Lamina Free.
This does not delete the customer’s files or intentionally make the App unusable.
The customer has no right to keep using an already activated copy of Lamina Pro after receiving a refund, including by keeping the Mac offline or preventing licence validation.
6. Try before buying
Lamina can be downloaded without entering payment information.
The App includes a 14-day trial of all Pro features.
When the trial ends, Lamina returns to Lamina Free. The free version remains usable without a time limit and does not add a watermark. Only the Pro tools are locked.
The trial allows the user to check compatibility and determine whether Lamina meets their needs before buying.
7. EU and EEA consumers
Where the statutory EU or EEA right of withdrawal applies, the customer may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract.
We do not rely on an early loss or waiver of this statutory withdrawal right for the immediate delivery of the licence key.
The voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee is more generous than the statutory 14-day withdrawal period. It applies in addition to the statutory right and remains available after the statutory period has ended, until the end of the 30-day guarantee period.
A withdrawal or refund can be requested by emailing hello@lamina-app.com or by using the order or receipt link provided by Lemon Squeezy.
A full withdrawal or refund ends the customer’s right to use Lamina Pro as described in section 5. The customer may continue using Lamina Free.
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer right.
8. Consumers in Switzerland
Swiss law does not provide a general statutory right to cancel an ordinary online purchase merely because the customer changes their mind.
The voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee nevertheless applies to eligible customers in Switzerland.
9. How to request a refund
Send the request to: hello@lamina-app.com
Include:
the email address used during checkout; and
the Lemon Squeezy order or receipt number, if available.
The customer may also use the order-management or receipt link supplied by Lemon Squeezy.
Requests received after the 30-day guarantee period will be considered where required by mandatory law or where Lamina Pro has a material defect that cannot reasonably be resolved.
